This is the TAB of the bass solo part of "Punk Jazz" from Weather Report's album "Mr. Gone."
The coolest thing about this tune is the super-fast solo at the beginning, which reminds me of the opening saxophone solo John Coltrane played on "Countdown."
I've heard that this bass solo was the solo played on Jaco's song "Dania," so I listened carefully to the drums and compared it with Dania's rhythm to ensure that the notation was accurate.
