Donna Lee BASS TAB (Jaco Pastorius)

This is the world's best complete TAB of Donna Lee on Jaco Pastorius' debut solo album.

I transcribed it myself, and the notes are far more accurate than the tabs sold by major publishers.

The fingering is smooth and easy to play, with no unnecessary changes in position and without excessive stretching (there are parts that seem to be the same as Jaco's fingering, and some parts are changed to non-stretching fingering).

The use of open strings is directly adapted from Jaco's playing style. For reference, I have also included information on which fingers on your left hand should be used to hold the notes. (The numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 correspond to the index, middle, ring, and little fingers, respectively.) And the common chord progression is also included.

Although the content is quite difficult, it is an amazing performance, so if you can play all or even part of it, I think you will be able to improve your level as a bassist, and it is simply cool.

If you're going to take the time to practice this tune, you want to play what Jaco played exactly, right? In that case, I think it's much better to practice with this tab than with a tab that has many mistakes and unnatural fingerings.
